Other threats to journalists, Jetmir Muji, Prishtinë, 10.09.2025
The Association of Journalists of Kosovo (AJK) has learned that cameraman Jetmir Muji, of the portal Paparaci, was arrested and is currently held at the Qendër police station in Prishtina.
AJK expresses deep concern over this arbitrary detention and calls on the Kosovo Police to release Muji immediately. He was filming a report on the schooling of President Osmani’s daughters when her close protection officers stopped him, confiscated his camera, and demanded that he delete the footage.
AJK considers the arrest unlawful and an abuse of authority, condemning it as an unacceptable attack on media freedom and the public’s right to information.
