Other threats towards journalists, Vesa Hoda, Prishtinë, 09.03.2026

The Association of Journalists of Kosovo (AJK) condemns the actions of members of Prime Minister Albin Kurti’s close protection team, who physically obstructed Klan Kosova journalist Vesa Hoda.

While attempting to ask questions about the ongoing political crisis surrounding potential new elections after a public event, the journalist was physically pushed by a member of the police. This behavior is unacceptable and represents a serious obstruction of journalists’ work and the media’s role in holding public officials accountable.

AJK calls on the Kosovo Police and the Office of the Prime Minister to refrain from creating obstacles for journalists and media workers, and to ensure that they can carry out their duties freely while seeking answers on matters of public interest.
