Obstruction of Duty, Gjakovë, 9.2.2025

After the completion of the electoral process, the Klan Kosova team, consisting of journalists Agan Hajdarhoxha, Nita Ilazi, and cameraman Florian Syla, went to cover the celebrations of the supporters of "Vetëvendosje". They were obstructed, initially with flags and then with fireworks, along with chants of "Klan Serbia" and insults directed at their mothers and sisters, while a pyrotechnic device was thrown towards the team.

Case description After the completion of the electoral process, the Klan Kosova team, consisting of journalists Agan Hajdarhoxha, Nita Ilazi, and cameraman Florian Syla, was obstructed while covering the celebrations of the supporters of the Vetëvendosje Movement. Initially, they were faced with their view being blocked by flags, followed by the lighting of fireworks near them. The crowd shouted "Klan Serbia" and accompanied the chants with insults directed at the journalists' families. The situation escalated further when a pyrotechnic device was thrown at the team, endangering their safety and hindering their ability to report freely.
