Obstruction of Duty, Gjilan, 9.2.2025

The team, consisting of journalists Flamur Gajtani and Herolind Ademi, and cameraman Bardh Stublla, covered the Gjilan region on the voting day, February 9, 2025. After the voting centers closed, the team went to the Gjilan square to follow the gathering called by Mayor Alban Hyseni to celebrate the victory. Once the speech concluded, supporters of VV started insulting the team, approaching them and shouting phrases such as: "You don't belong here," "Down with Klan Serbia," "You are bothered by the flag (national flag)," "Workers of Vučić," and similar sentences. In fact, supporters with national symbols surrounded the journalists and cameraman, obstructing them from doing their job and preventing them from carrying out their duties. This continued until the Kosovo Police intervened and removed the crowd from the team. The journalists and cameraman, with the help of the police, were placed in a safer location.
