Attacks and insults towards Nacionale and Periskopi, Prishtinë, 25.07.2024
The attacks, insults, and lynchings of officials from Vetëvendosje have continued with intensity on Thursday.
Selman Sokoli, an assemblyman of VV in Prizren, made derogatory remarks about journalists from Nacionale and Periskopi, saying that "they trained them like stray dogs.".
In a Facebook post, Fahri Beqa alleged that “Radojçiqi and Vuçiçi gave you money” to Ilir Mirena, the head of the media outlet Periskopi.
Moreover, Qëndrim Krasniqi claimed that certain media outlets are coordinating attacks against RTK under the direction of Radojciqi.
Denigrating and lynching language puts all journalists working in these two media outlets at serious risk. It is imperative that Vetëvendosje and its members put an end to this dangerous and unacceptable behavior.
