Farewell Visit of OSCE Ambassador to Kosovo, Davenport to AJK
The Association of Journalists of Kosovo recently held a farewell meeting with the Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, Michael Davenport.
During the meeting, the Chairman of AJK, Xhemajl Rexha, and the Executive Director, Getoarbë Mulliqi, expressed their gratitude to Ambassador Davenport for his consistent cooperation and support towards AJK and its community.
They also stressed the importance of maintaining collaboration between organizations to advocate for the safety of journalists, enhance media freedom in Kosovo, and improve the skills of journalists across all communities.
At the meeting, AJK presented Ambassador Davenport with a certificate of appreciation for his dedication to promoting media freedom in Kosovo.
The Association of Journalists of Kosovo values the strong partnership it has had with the OSCE since its establishment in 2002. Throughout the years, the OSCE has supported numerous activities and training sessions for AJK, playing a vital role in the revival of the Annual Awards in Journalism in 2021.
