Final Day of the Study Visit to Northern Ireland
The final day of our study visit to Northern Ireland, started with a visit to the WAVE Trauma Centre, where our guest speaker Paul Gallagher walked us through the important work the center does, in fostering cross-community dialogue, and healing.
We also visited The MAC for "The Shake" exhibition, where we were welcomed by Elaine Forde. The exhibition is an impactful display that shows the lasting effects of conflict on individuals and communities.
Lastly, journalists from Kosovo and Northern Ireland paired to start the process of writing stories on different topics, that will reflect different aspects of the after-conflict in both societies.
This concludes Kosovo journalists' visit to Northern Ireland, and in the next couple of weeks, the articles will be ready for publishing in both countries.
The Peace Journalism Project is funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office through the British Embassy Pristina.
