Journalists Boycott Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti
Local media journalists and camera operators placed their microphones and cameras on the ground this Wednesday as Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti exited the Kosovo Assembly building en route to the Government offices.
This action by the journalists was a protest because Kurti did not speak to the media during any of the five Assembly sessions held within a single week.
The Association of Journalists of Kosovo calls on all political actors—in particular the leader of the party with the most seats in the Assembly—to be transparent with the media and the public on such an important matter as the constitution of the new legislature.
