Attack on the media and media organizations, Gjilan, 4.3.2025
The Acting Prime Minister and leader of the Self-Determination Movement, Albin Kurti, continued his attacks on the media this Tuesday.
"My judgment is that the Prosecutor's Office is more interested in filling the headlines of some oligarch's portal than in bringing justice," Kurti stated in Gjilan. He made this statement when asked by journalists about his failure to appear as a witness in the case of the State Reserves, an interview scheduled for 10:00 AM.
The AGK (Association of Journalists of Kosovo) condemns this language from the Acting Prime Minister and reiterates that such rhetoric is unacceptable, risks the safety of journalists and media, and undermines media freedom and freedom of expression in Kosovo.
