Threats toward journalist, Arjana Berisha, Prishtinë, 19.08.2022
The Association of Journalists of Kosovo is concerned about the threat to the journalist of Kallxo, Arjana Berisha.
Berisha was threatened by the bus driver of the "Di Passio Tour" company - right after a video was published that shows him using his phone while driving.
In an audio recording published by Kallxo, it is heard that the driver repeatedly insulted the journalist, who insisted on getting his opinion on the situation. Despite the journalist's request to stop cursing, he continued and threatened her, demanding that the video should have not been published.
"That one who publishes the video, (unintelligible) I will f* m**** p** (unintelligible) the one who publishes I will f** h****, go on publish it, have a good day...", said the driver.
The Association of Journalists of Kosovo condemns the threats against the journalist Arjana Berisha, and invites the competent bodies to take the necessary actions regarding the case.
