Obstructing the work of journalists, Pristina, 05.04.2022
The Football Federation of Kosovo has decided to close the proceedings of the Electoral Assembly to journalists and media, scheduled for 6 April.
According to the FFK announcement, only a broadcaster, but no journalists will be allowed in that space.
The Association of Journalists of Kosovo is concerned about this decision and the reasoning for the lack of office spaces is ungrounded, as similar events have been covered by all interested media in the past.
Such closing makes professional reporting on an important event of public interest from the scene impossible.
AJK calls on FFK to reconsider its decision and allow journalists and media to do their job without any obstructions.
