Obstruction of Duty, Vushtrri, 9.2.2025

Yesterday, the Klan Kosova team, consisting of Gresa Nitaj, Blerina Doshlaku, and cameraman Mirand Karamani, faced verbal obstruction while reporting at the LVV headquarters in Vushtrri. Initially, they were subjected to insults and chants, mainly "Klan Serbia," but later, militants approached the camera, verbally attacking the television station and demanding that they leave the area. The pressure was not only verbal but also physical, with vehicles approaching the team, posing a problem for the reporting. Seeing the situation escalate, the Kosovo Police (about 10 officers) intervened to assist the team.

Case description On election day, the Klan Kosova team, consisting of Gresa Nitaj, Blerina Doshlaku, and cameraman Mirand Karamani, faced obstruction while reporting near the LVV headquarters in Vushtrri. They were verbally attacked with insults and chants like "Klan Serbia," while several militants approached the camera, insulting the television station and demanding the team leave. In addition to verbal pressure, the journalists also faced vehicles approaching in an alarming manner, which hindered their work. The situation was managed with the intervention of the Kosovo Police, which deployed around 10 officers to ensure the smooth continuation of the reporting.
