Actual attacks against journalists, Burim Pacolli, Prishtinë, 02.03.2026
Burim Pacolli, a journalist at Nacional, was physically assaulted by several individuals on Monday afternoon, according to reports from his media outlet.
According to the report, the attack is suspected to have been carried out by a rapper whose work Pacolli had reviewed.
The Association of Journalists of Kosovo (AJK) strongly condemns this attack, which endangered Pacolli’s physical integrity, and calls on the Kosovo Police to locate and apprehend the perpetrator(s) following Pacolli’s official complaint.
Freedom of expression, criticism, and reporting is guaranteed under the Constitution and laws of Kosovo, and no journalist should be subjected to attacks for exercising these rights.
