Journalist Vehbi Kajtazi’s Facebook Account Suspended, January 14, 2025, Pristina
The Association of Journalists of Kosovo (AGK) expresses concern over the suspension of journalist Vehbi Kajtazi’s Facebook account.
According to the journalist and founder of the “Paparaci” portal, this suspension comes as a result of continuous reports against his posts related to the February 9 elections, as well as numerous actions from automated accounts (bots) that harassed and disturbed him on his platform before and during the election campaign.
AGK emphasizes the importance of ensuring freedom of expression and protecting journalists from any form of interference or obstruction in their work. We call for journalists' work to remain unhindered in any way.
AGK remains committed to defending journalists' rights and encourages institutions and digital platforms to cooperate in preventing attacks and interventions that threaten free journalism.
