QUINT embassies mark Ukraine's Independence Day

German Embassy in Pristina, U.S. Embassy in Pristina, Kosovo, Ambasciata d'Italia a Pristina, Embassy of Italy in Pristina, Ambassade de France au Kosovo, French Embassy in Kosovo, British Embassy in Pristina, European Union in Kosovo, European Center for Press and Media Freedom, ECPMF, and AJK organized a ceremony on Monday in honor of marking the 33rd anniversary of Ukraine's independence for Ukrainians sheltered in Kosovo.

The event, led by Lindsay Jagla, Spokesperson of the Embassy of the United States of America in Kosovo, featured speeches from the German Ambassador to Kosovo, Jorn Rhode, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and Iryna Synelnyk, a Ukrainian journalist currently sheltered in Kosovo.

The event took place at the "Pjeter Bogdani" National Library, where attendees gathered to show their support for the freedom and democracy of Ukraine.

Journalists in Residence Kosovo program by the Association of Journalists of Kosovo is implemented within the framework of the Voices of Ukraine support program. The program, led by the European Centre for Press and Media Freedom, is part of the Hannah-Arendt Initiative and is funded by the German Federal Foreign Office, and the Government of Kosovo.
