The Call for the 2025 Annual Journalism Awards is Now Open
The Association of Journalists of Kosovo (AJK), in close partnership with the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Mission in Kosovo, and with the support of UN Women – Office in Kosovo, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, the International Labour Organization (ILO), Pro Peace – Kosovo Office, the Embassy of Canada to Croatia and Kosovo, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations Fund for Population Activities (UNFPA), the NGO “Voice of Roma, Ashkali, and Egyptian Communities” (VoRAE), and the NGO “Centre for Information and Social Improvement” (QIPS), is pleased to announce the call for applications for the 2025 Annual Journalism Awards.
The call for applications is open until November 27, 2025, at 16:00.
Journalists may apply for only one category, with stories published between November 19, 2024, and November 9, 2025.

- Reporting on Women’s Empowerment
- Reporting on Antigypsyism
- Conflict-Sensitive Journalism and Dealing with the Past
- Reporting on Migrant Workers
- Reporting on Labour Rights
- Reporting on Mental Health
- Reporting on Peacebuilding and Trustbuilding
- Reporting on Climate Change and Sustainable Development
Winners will be announced at the Award Ceremony on December 10, 2025, in Prishtina.
