AAK Official in Deçan Publishes Personal Data of ATV Journalist
The head of the electoral staff of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) in Deçan, Hajdar Sutaj, shared a private conversation on Facebook with ATV journalist Albina Haliti regarding an invitation to a debate with the mayor of this municipality, Bashkim Ramosaj.
In doing so, he disclosed journalist Haliti’s personal phone number, which led to her receiving numerous messages, including insults and threats.
The Association of Journalists of Kosovo (AJK) strongly condemns this action by Sutaj and calls for an investigation and measures from the Agency for Information and Privacy.
AJK urges Mayor Ramosaj and the AAK to distance themselves from such actions, which incite derogatory language and hatred toward journalists.
Furthermore, AJK calls on AAK and other political parties in the electoral race to ensure professional cooperation with journalists during election campaign coverage and in the organization of debates with mayoral candidates.
